Ball valve

For the spherical valve core, so called ball valve.

In general, the ball core is a metal, but the seat mostly non-metallic (ptfe). Operating mode is also similar to cock, the handle can rotate 90 °, but compared with the cock, valve seal area is small, the operating torque is small.

Because the valve core is spherical, so fluid resistance is small, and because the port on the hole, so you can change the direction of two or more flow path, are widely used in the discharge fluid equipment and general chemical equipment.

Valve core and valve cover also are available in all gold used in relatively free temperature and high pressure pipeline.
